Goldens’ Firecracker Wings are perfect for game day and holidays. Using just a few simple ingredients and we created a flavor sensation worthy enough to help us celebrate those special days with family and friends!

  • 2 lbs. chicken wings
  • 1 cup of Goldens’ Smoking Hot Soppin’ Sauce
  • 1 cup of Sweet Chili Sauce
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • ½ tsp. of Kosher salt
  • ¼ – ½ tsp. Red Pepper flakes (adjust to your heat preference)
  • Black Sesame Seeds

Into a medium-sized bowl, add enough warm water to later cover the chicken wings. Next, add your kosher salt, sugar and red pepper flakes to the water and mix the ingredients together. Allow the water to cool and then add your chicken wings to the mixture. Stir it all together and then place the bowl in the refrigerator for about an hour.

Let’s get started making our wing sauce. In a medium saucepan, add our Goldens’ Smoking Hot Soppin’ Sauce, sweet chili sauce and butter. Cook this mixture over a low to medium heat just long enough to melt the butter.

Go ahead and set your Goldens’ Cast Iron Cooker for high heat according to the diagram to the left. Allow the cooker’s temperature to reach 350 degrees before placing your wings on the cooking grate. Cook the wings for about 20 minutes (turning once), until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Carefully, remove the wings from your cooker and toss them in the wing sauce. Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top and serve.
