While our syrup kettles were (and are!) a great product for syrup makers, we realized that our kettle design would be perfect for an outdoor fire pit. Cast iron construction ensures years of enjoyable use. In stark contrast to cheap disposable fire pits, Goldens’ Cast Iron Syrup Kettle Fire Pits are engineered for years and years of use. Goldens’ Foundry & Machine Company began producing syrup kettles back in the late 1800’s. At the time, Goldens’ was an American manufacturer making products for farmers throughout the South and into Mexico. Well known for their Goldens’ Sugar Cane Mills, the syrup kettles were a must have accessory for farmers. They were used to boil sugar cane or sorghum juice down into Cane Syrup and Molasses. As the consumer market has evolved, Goldens’ Syrup Kettles are now the perfect inspiration for outdoor fire pit & fire bowls. with 1/2 inch ductile cast iron construction, Goldens’ Syrup Kettle Fire Bowls now ensures generations of enjoyable use!
